To make access to the stratosphere routine, recoverable, and operationally useful.

The stratosphere sits above conventional aviation and below orbit. It offers persistent access, wide-area reach, and recoverable operations without the cost and delay of space launch.

The stratosphere has remained valuable but difficult to use.

Aircraft are limited by endurance and operating cost. Satellites are expensive, distant, and difficult to reposition. Traditional balloon systems are often disposable, difficult to control, and disconnected from modern mission software.

Deimos-One is developing autonomous, recoverable high-altitude systems built on American-made vehicles. Our goal is to make stratospheric operations repeatable enough for real missions, not occasional demonstrations.

The vehicle is only one part of the capability.

Routine operations require navigation, atmospheric estimation, energy management, communications, payload integration, safety authority, recovery, and a complete record of every mission decision.

We are building these functions as one autonomous operating system for the stratosphere: a system that can plan, adapt, operate safely, and improve with every flight.

Routine access creates value across every mission that depends on seeing, sensing, connecting, or testing.

Persistent intelligence, communications relay, environmental monitoring, atmospheric research, disaster response, and stratospheric hardware validation all benefit from a platform that can remain aloft, carry useful payloads, and return for reuse.

We believe the stratosphere will become a permanent operating layer between Earth and orbit. Deimos-One exists to build the autonomous systems that make it usable.
